Eric Joses Sulaiman

Eric Joses Sulaiman is a corporate and financing legal professional with a hands-on experience in corporate actions, transactions, and regulatory compliance across a range of sectors, including mining, property, energy, and crypto assets. His work covers both domestic and cross-border matters, with involvement in a significant number of corporate actions involving Indonesian and foreign entities.

Prior to joining ADCO Law, he was actively involved in the analysis and review of transaction, financing, and credit documents, with an aggregate value exceeding IDR 1 trillion, prepared in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. His experience includes managing asset sale and purchase transactions, handling the liquidation of inactive companies, and conducting legal due diligence for potential investors, strategic partners, and target companies. He also regularly performs regulatory assessments on corporate law, crypto asset regulations, energy and mining law, and land sales and purchases.

Assisted clients in banking and finance, project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial transactions across various industry sectors, including mining, hospitality, and data center projects.
Involved in financing matters and transactions with an aggregate value of approximately IDR 2 trillion, including syndicated lending, offshore financing, secured transactions, and sharia-compliant financing structures.
Assisted in project financing transactions relating to nickel and coal mining projects, including corporate and licensing due diligence, transaction structuring, and transaction execution.
Exposed to cross-border and offshore financing transactions involving offshore lenders and multi-party financing arrangements.
Advised and assisted borrowers in financing transactions involving domestic and offshore lenders, including participation in transaction discussions and negotiations with banks and counterparties.
Assisted in the preparation and review of financing and security documentation, including collateral arrangements, escrow arrangements, lease agreements, and other ancillary financing documents.
Assisted in sharia-compliant finance transactions, including sukuk-related arrangements and Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) financing structures.
